REF: Rory Gaudon
Mydwarfsworld.ca

To Whom It May Concern,

We hired Rory Gaudon as his “Sean the Leprechaun” to entertain the general public in Downtown Calgary for two days during our peak hours leading up to St.Patricks Day. We provided a map of downtown focus on the iconic pedestrian mall - Stephen Avenue Walk, and highlighted other areas of expectation to make appearances. Rory went above and beyond, supplying wonderful souvenirs and interacting with guests of all ages.

Our campaign was successful as we were able to find photos from the general public posed with Rory and commentary saying ‘did you see that leprechaun?’ on social media platforms which was our objective. Rory promoted our organization very well, and without concern.

I will not hesitate to hire Rory again, he is worth every penny and both a professional and delight to work with.

Many thanks,

Shauna Quinn

The Beach BIA invited Rory Gaudon to its 3rd Annual Family Day Festival presented by BMO Bank of Montreal on Feb. 15, 2010. We'd heard about Rory and read the wonderful recommendations, but I can now say that he's better than expectations. Rory puts himself completely into his act, with wonderful balloon creations, magical stories and great energy. Young and old loved him. I'd have him back without hesitation!

Port Sydney 53rd Winter Carnival-January 30, 2010

I am pleased to provide this letter of Recommendation for "Roar Gnomian the great Gaugnome". Rory attended our 2010 winter carnival event and entertained the children with his great balloon animals, stories and beautiful flower balloons. The children loved the balloon shapes and were fascinated as they watched him create them.

He gave freely of his time and stayed with us for longer than the contract required in order to ensure each child recieved a balloon character.

Rory obviously enjoys his work, has a strong work ethic, and is very committed to ensuring that children, and adults, enjoy his performance.

Thank you Rory. We enjoyed having you at our event.

Rory Gaudon recently entertained at the June 2009 senior’s celebration hosted by the Welcome Inn Community Centre.  His “Sean the Leprechaun” character roved amongst the lunch tables telling stories, playing songs, and creating wonderful balloon animals and flowers for the seniors.  His warm personality and energy were enjoyed by all in attendance.  I would recommend Rory’s “Sean the Leprechaun” character for seniors everywhere.  We hope he will be back!

“Hi Rory:   It was an incredible learning experience for me and I am stunned that it all went so well.  Thank you so much for coming.  I can’t imagine how it would have been without your stories and humor.   You are a joy to work with.   It was obvious from the line ups of children that your artistry with balloons was appreciated.   I appreciated the fact that you did not leave until every child had been spoken to and had a balloon.   You have a wonderful way of focusing in on each child and making each one feel special.  I look forward to working with you again some day. “

Our St Patrick’s Festivities 2009

I would like to thank you Rory Gaudon for making our St Patrick’s festivities a great success.

Rory appeared at Ned Devine’s on Friday March 13, 2009 and was well received by both the young and old.  He kept the guests entertained through comical skits as well as making flower balloons and appeared in many great photo opportunities with our regulars. As a result, he did not hesitate in bringing him back for our St. Patrick’s Day festivities and was once again a great crowd pleaser.

I would highly recommend Rory to anyone who is looking for a little magic for their guests or for special events and I look forward to having him back with us in the future.

Sincerely,

Mary Anne Guilbert

Fort McMurray InterPLAY Society

In praise of Rory Gaudon

I’ve been hiring roving performers for over a decade. They’ve come to Fort McMurray in all shapes and sizes and with a work ethic that ranges from haphazard to extraordinary. Rory Gaudon lands on the extraordinary end of the scale, not only in terms of his work ethic, but in terms of his skill and audience appeal. His characters are dramatically different and add incredible richness to the festival environment. If you want “the hardest working man in show business” and a performer who leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets, Rory Gaudon is your guy!

Sincerely,

Russell Thomas
InterPLAY Festival President (1997 to present)

To Whom It May Concern

We have hired Mr. Gaudon on numerous occasions during various events throughout this past year to include our Annual Founders’ Fair in July and Orangeville’s First Night New Years Eve Celebration. Mr. Gaudon is a pleasure to work with as he provides an attraction that would be an asset to any event. Although not a main act, Mr. Gaudon adds to the atmosphere by providing on going roaming balloon artistry and story telling which gathers many children and adults.

Mr. Gaudon is sure not to disappoint in that he ensures that anyone waiting for him to provide a balloon is not disappointed often going beyond his contracted time without question. He is a low maintenance entertainer who knows how to greet the public and works the crowd freely and at great ease slipping in and out of various costumes.

We would highly recommend Mr. Gaudon to add that special touch to a family event and find his performance and fees to be more than reasonable.

We wish Mr. Gaudon much luck in the future and looking forward to working with him again in 2008.

Sincerely,

Jacqueline Bayley

To Whom It May Concern:

Please accept this letter as a recommendation for Rory.  Over the past two years I have had the opportunity to work with Rory on a variety of occasions and most recently during our 9th Annual Carrot Fest.

He is truly amazing…accommodating…and one of the best buskers we have had here in Bradford.  His willingness to be involved in event planning, coordinating, execution…and the last minute media throws are what it takes to be a true performer!

We received many positive comments from our festival participants and intend to have him back next year.

I would gladly recommend him for any festivals, public events, or corporate events.

Sincerely,

Joe Lotto

To Whom It May Concern:

North Hamilton Community Health Centre has had the pleasure of working with Rory Gaudon for three consecutive years. Every summer, our organization hosts ‘Park N’ Party,’ a free event for everyone in the North End of Hamilton. The event consists of a barbeque and live entertainment, as well as games, face painting, and balloon shaping for the children. The event typically brings out over 300 people for an evening of family fun.

Since August 2005, Rory has come out to handle the balloon-shaping portion of our event. The children absolutely love the designs that Rory creates for them, and the stories that he tells while they are waiting for their balloon creation.

We have found Rory to be very enthusiastic about his work and he is always extremely devoted to the children. It is a joy to work with Rory and we hope to continue to do so for years to come.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Laframboise
Community Development Worker

Smithville Foodland had a grand opening and requested Rory to perform as "SEAN THE LEPRECHAUN". The customers were taken with his quick wit and humourous tales, and his artful balloonwork. As you passed by, one could only see the smiles reflected on the faces of kids and adults as he mesmerized those who stopped to listen. Thank you for sharing our day.
